Two more turtles got satellite tags this past week - both of them male Hawksbills! Maybe I was mistaken about how rare male turtles are (though, I browsed through the other tagged turtles on seaturtle.org and they were all female). These two were somewhat unexpected catches and, the researchers tell me, they're running low on tags. I think they only have 1 left. At about $3000 each, I doubt they'll be getting any more soon.
