The South Caicos fire squad recently circulated this humorous notice:

It leaves you with an impression that seems to apply to many things around here; "IT'S ILLEGAL," but "go ahead and do it anyway." Especially concerning the fisheries - nearly all the fish and lobster caught here are caught using banned methods.
